Luca Agnani Studio is made by a team of professionals who animate architectures with projected lights, using 3D Video Mapping techniques.
Luca Agnani gained international fame in the field of digital art by achieving third place in the 2013 Circle of Light competition in Moscow with a video mapping projection on the facade of the Museum of Contemporary Art. Among his numerous notable works, mentions can be made of those for Piazza Unità d'Italia in Trieste during the Christmas holidays in 2014, for the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa on the occasions of the exhibitions "From Impressionists to Picasso" in 2015 and "Warhol. Pop Society" in 2016, and the video mapping created in November 2017 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution on the facade of the Hermitage in St. Petersburg. In 2019, he was part of the "Farnesina Digital Art Experience" project promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and organized by Brightfestival, where he animated the facade of Farnesina in Rome, the Conde Duque in Madrid, and the historic monument Carlton Hill in Edinburgh. In 2020, for the Municipality of Carpi, he executed a video mapping in one of Italy's largest squares, illuminating the 230 meters of the portico of Piazza Martiri. In 2021, he worked on the facade of the Hotel Palazzo in Livorno for the Mascagni Festival and on the Duomo of Monza for the Kernel Festival. In 2022, he was commissioned by the Bologna Festival Association to project a reconstruction of 12 projects created over time by the greatest architects in history for the completion of the facade onto the Basilica of San Petronio in Bologna. Also in 2022, on behalf of the Institute of Nuclear Physics, he created a video mapping on the facade of Palazzo Ducale in Genoa to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the discovery of the Higgs boson. In 2023, he was selected alongside 6 other international artists to illuminate the facade of the Treasury of Petra in Jordan for the Petra Light Festival.
